Raymond Files, NRP
I have spent nearly two decades in emergency medicine, and I still pick up shifts today. That is not nostalgia. It's the reason my work holds up: I am one of the people who has to live with the decisions made by the consultants and management after the project closes.
Along the way I have run clinical education, QA, and compliance for a county EMS system, and served as the dedicated product manager for a national ePCR platform used by more than 10,000 providers. I have sat on the agency side asking a vendor for something impossible, and on the vendor side explaining why it was. That perspective is difficult to acquire on purpose and it is the thing clients actually hire.
Clinical Judgment Partners exists because too many provider-facing systems are designed by people who will never use them, and too many clinical experts cannot speak the language of the teams building them. I do both, in one conversation, without a translation layer.
